STORMWATER LINES

Work Completed for Hawkins Infrastructure and
Harker Underground

TDM Construction Ltd was contracted by Hawkins Infrastructure and Harker Underground to install large diameter storm and wastewater pipes as part of the Wynyard Quarter rehabilitation project.

The project was unique in that it involved large areas of cement/lime stabilisation up to four meters deep. This was critical as the whole area was tidal to around two meters above the depth that our pipes were to be installed at. Using large pumps to manage water as the trench was breached, and coupled with managing sediment flow back into the sea, continuous monitoring was required.
